The work of the Italian freelance illustrator Emmanuel Viola, better known online as EvviArt, is very popular. The artist who lives and works in Benevento, Italy, studied graphic design and illustration.
Elegant and Sensual
He has worked as a marketing illustrator for many years and also for a game design company in Italy. Nowadays he's working as a freelance illustrator, and creates elegant and sensual webcomics that inspire many new cartoonists.
Riae
In an earlier interview Viola mentions that he has always made illustrations that convey a certain eroticism but in recent years he also prefers to transmit a thought behind the image. For this reason, he also made the comic Riae (Fig.22), to express what few actually know.
Porn
In the Italian publishing market, the erotic comic is often confused with the porn genre. Consequently, the eroticism in comics has found maximum expression on social media.

Klimt
Danaë is a painting by the Austrian painter Gustav Klimt from 1907-1908 (Fig.6a). It is seen as a representation of the narcissistic female sexuality in the person of Danaë. Viola is a big fan and made his own interpretation (Fig.6).
