Last weekend the American neo shunga artist Jeff Faerber (1974) shared his two latest works with us. They have been added below including some additional comments of the artist.
Fig.1 "She, being a tad too literal, fastidiously executed his passionate entreaty (priorly transmitted by text) with unfettered enthusiasm and vigor, but given her own request for the encounter, he didn’t mind."
"De-Dust"
There is a children's book series about a character named Amelia Bedelia who is always literal. She gets hired as a maid and when the rich family tells her to dust the furniture, she adds dust to all the surfaces. The family learns they need to ask her to "de-dust" things, etc. Anyway, I always think about the euphemisms in the English language (and with emojis) that we use to talk about sex and thought about how a literal minded person (or possibly autistic) might have trouble navigating requests. I remember a perhaps fictitious anecdote about a woman referring to her partner as "daddy" and him not understanding calling her "daughter." Anyway. These are some of the thoughts that go thru my head.
Fig.2 "Her Tinder® screen name “(っ˘ڡ˘ς)🍑” foreshadowed that her carnal repertoire fit Sally’s needs, plus she brought a friend!"
っ˘ڡ˘ς
Mostly I just love the type characters "(っ˘ڡ˘ς)" and designed the rest of the title around using it. The rest of the scenario is somewhat unconnected, but close enough.
