This set of four oil paintings (fig.1 to 4) entitled 'Deux nonnes et un moine (Two Nuns and a Monk)' by a mysterious French artist named Reggialdi who was active round the 1940s. It was hammered down at Euro 610,- during a French auction in 2022.
Crowded Orgy
The fifth piece (fig.5) is entitled 'Sur l'herbe en famille (A family get-together on the grass)' and shows a crowded orgy in a forest. Nothing is known about the artist, but he clearly shows his ability to handle the oil medium and an aversion against religion and celibacy.
