This is the third shunga plate from the series ‘A Light Spring Snow‘ (c.1822) and is a sudden change in the set of images that for the most part take place outdoors. Here, in a luxurious Yoshiwara bordello, a lucky playboy is viewed at stylish pleasure with a bunch of half-dressed beauties, no less than four.
Jeweled Stalk
The girl at right is shown cleaning her vulva; the older female in the back watches enviously as the hero couples with a charming girl at left, while another, equally enticing girl passionately kisses him, while grasping his Jeweled Stalk.
