Photography for Stéphanie Di Domenico is a therapeutic process. She started her journey as a photographer, using it to heal and regain self-confidence after a painful breakup. The origin of her artistic ideation began with self-portraits in her bathroom, where she expressed her feelings one picture at a time. Photography has always moved Stéphanie. She never thought of holding the camera to capture motion within stillness.
With complete dedication, Stéphanie immersed herself in photography, perfecting the gestures, and selecting women as her muse. Through her work, she realized the significance of honoring the dignity of every woman. Stephanie’s sessions revolve around accepting the body and loving one’s self, even in the face of adversity. This theme triggered a desire for personal growth. The underlying goal of Stéphanie’s art is to ensure that it serves a purpose and brings positive effects.

Light
As a self-taught photographer, Stéphanie only focuses on her own work. She avoids passing judgment or drawing comparisons between her work and that of other photographers. Her sources of inspiration include music, cinema, painting, nature, and women.
The live female body, in its unfiltered state, serves as a constant source of motivation for Stéphanie. She encourages people to embrace themselves and not let societal expectations define them.
