A fantastic short animation movie on shunga by the talented Italian illustrator Roberto Biadi. The images are inspired on the erotic designs of the great Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849). Look for the octopus early in the movie!
It features mainly designs from the Hokusai masterpiece book series ‘Kinoe no komatsu‘ (Languishing for Love/ Young Pine Saplings), published in c.1814. The movie ends with a self-portrait of the master himself.
