In this double page book illustration we see a male client who sucks on a breast nipple, while penetrating a meshimume*.

The added vulgar Edo dialect is one of the enjoyable features of Spring Pictures (Shunga):
Man: "That I got acquainted with a wild woman from Kanagawa must be the blessing of my monthly pilgrimage to Enoshima, and that's why I tumbled into the lap of such a Benzaiten**. There ain't no fine opening like this in the whole world—one that sucks in the body of a Mara*** and pulls it deep inside. I don't know if it's an octopus or a squid, but around water, you get your fill of stinking seafood. Ah, here it comes again, I'm coming, I'm coming!"
The courtesan narrows her eyes and murmurs, "My whole body is numb, melting away, and then, oh, my breath is ragged, somehow, it's good, so good, when I say I'm coming, what am I to do, ah, mmm..."—a voice of joyful rapture.

* The term "meshimume" refers to women who, while serving at inns and such, also sold their favors in spring.
** Benzaiten is the only female deity among The Seven Lucky Gods (Shichifukujin), she symbolizes all that flows: words, water and music.
